Dr. Emily Fischer is an Associate Professor in the Department of Atmospheric Science at Colorado State University (CSU). She is also an affiliate faculty member of the CSU School of Global Environmental Sustainability (SoGES). As the lead PI of PROGRESS she works with Drs. Burt, Barnes and Pollack to lead PROGRESS workshops in the Front Range. She also coordinates with partner institutions to launch new PROGRESS cohorts and manages the overall project direction. Dr. Sandra Clinton is a Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Geography and Earth Sciences at the University of North Carolina Charlotte. As the lead PI at UNC Charlotte she works with Drs. Fischer, Burt, Barnes, and Pollack to lead PROGRESS workshops in the Carolinas, she also works within the larger PROGRESS network to launch mentoring programs in new regions. Melissa A. Burt, Ph.D. (Co-PI)

Dr. Melissa Burt is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Atmospheric Science at Colorado State University. She is also the Assistant Dean for Diversity and Inclusion in the Walter Scott, Jr College of Engineering. Burt works with Drs. Fischer, Barnes, and Pollack on the workshops in the Front Range. She trains PROGRESS mentors and leads development of training materials.

Dr. Rebecca Barnes is an Associate Professor in the Environmental Studies Program at Colorado College. Dr. Paul R. Hernandez is an Associate Professor in the Department of Teaching, Learning, and Culture, as well as Educational Psychology at Texas A&M University (TAMU). As the Co-PI of PROGRESS and lead PI at the TAMU region, he works with Drs. Fischer, Burt, Barnes, and Pollack to lead PROGRESS workshops in Central Texas. Dr. Mica Estrada, Ph.D. (Co-PI)

Dr. Mica Estrada’s area of expertise is social influence, including the study of identity, intergroup relations, and integrative education. She is an Associate Professor in Social and Behavioral Sciences and the Institute for Health and Aging at UCSF. Dr. Estrada’s role in this study is to advise the team on all aspects of survey development, assist them in directing the analyses, and provide key feedback on the development of interventions.
Dr. Ilana B. Pollack, Ph.D. (Program Coordinator)

Dr. Ilana B. Pollack is a Research Scientist in the Department of Atmospheric Science at Colorado State University. Dr. Pollack is the Coordinator of the research and intervention activities associated with this project. She serves as the primary contact person between the students and the project team. She also assists in the day-to-day operations of the proposed research project, including the coordination of data collection, recruitment of participants, participant contact data management, survey testing, and communication with other project personnel.
