I am a Professor in the Department of Atmospheric Science at Colorado State University and in the School of Environmental Sciences at the University of East Anglia in the UK. My research foci lie in the area of large-scale climate variability, with an emphasis on using observations to identify novel aspects of the climate system, and then using models to test hypotheses motivated by observations. My publications are available via the link on the menu bar above.
